Stop saying you’re busy! News flash – we are all busy!

I get it ok so I’m giving myself that advice too. It is easy to get caught up in the busyness of business. We rush through the day, crossing things off our lists, meeting with people, moving from task to task and feeling stressed and overwhelmed with everything we should be getting done. At the end of the day you will make time for the things you want to do. Yes you can be complaining you ‘sooo busy one minute and then funnily enough when you get an unexpected lunch invite you can find the time. Because you want to!

The same is true of anything in your personal or business life. (You know it’s true)

If you want to play golf this weekend you will find the time to do it. If you want to read a book, you will make time.  So why don’t you make the time in your professional and business career to do the same thing??

Consider how many of those tasks are getting you closer to your goals or making an impact on your business? Are you busy or productive? Are you working harder or should you be working smarter?

It’s time to make changes in your business before you lose all your hair or add 10 more wrinkles to that beautiful face. After if nothing changes then nothing changes!

Make 2017 the year you get smart and start to use digital tools and technology to move you from the busy zone to the productive zone. And to ultimately move you closer to where you need to be.  I have heard so many people use the busy excuses this year when it ones to why they haven’t built a new website, implemented digital tactics to drive leads or trained their team on new digital skills. And guess what they are all empty excuses because if you really wanted to make a difference to your business you would have (and you know it). If you really want to do something you will find a way to make it work.

There are so many free and low cost digital tools available to help with every aspect of your business. They can make a huge difference to you and your teams productivity and can make you  thousands of dollars which is an even greater incentive right?

Stop procrastinating and making the busy excuses (which is really null and void these days) and actually impacts your credibility. Busy is just a bad habit we got ourselves into when we started to get a bit of technology in our life. It’s time to stop the busyness of business – you know you need to!
